Beauty Aid
For my senior capstone project, we were given a chance to come up with our own project. I chose to make a phone application related to skincare because I have a huge love for beauty products. In my experience, I wish I educated myself more on products that I am putting on my skin, as well as, understanding my skin type. I further enjoy UX/UI design, so I wanted to combine both my passions.
Beauty Aid plans to market to young teens and adults who are struggling with skin problems and looking for safer products for their skin. This application gives its user the ability to search or scan products to learn more about the ingredients in them. I want users to have the ability to learn more about their skin type and provide an efficent way for them to gain more knowledge about different ingredients in the products they search or scan. Users also can share their current products or favorites with others.
